Anzetse Were is appointed by The National Treasury and Economic Planning to the inter-agency taskforce on the development of the National Climate Finance Mobilisation Strategy for Kenya.
She looks forward to working in this interdisciplinary taskforce and will provide insight on the opportunities climate finance presents to meet economic development priorities, make fiscal and monetary policy more resilient, address gender inequality, while meeting challenges and imbalances that have already emerged in how climate finance is sourced, structured and deployed.
